Our Ground Operations
What genuinely sets SafariBando apart from many Tanzania operators is our physical presence across multiple regions of the country. Most operators in Arusha or Moshi subcontract to local agents in Zanzibar, Kigoma, and Dar es Salaam. We do not.
Moshi HQ — our main base, directly below Kilimanjaro. All mountain operations and northern circuit safaris are managed from here.
Zanzibar — our island team manages all Zanzibar accommodation, transfers, and activities directly, giving our clients a seamless and locally informed experience.
Kigoma — our western Tanzania team handles all chimpanzee trekking logistics at Gombe Stream and Mahale Mountains — one of very few operators with genuine on-the-ground presence at these parks.
Dar es Salaam — our southern operations hub covering Nyerere, Ruaha, Mikumi, and SGR train safari packages.
